Lots of cool drawing going on here, Monica!! The proportions of the dragonfly are very well drawn, and improved in the second, large-format drawing. The accuracy of the contour edges of the body and wings are especially well drawn in the larger work. The study sketches of the egret are a BIG step toward drawing realistically. Your line work became more accurate with each sketch. Keep practicing doing study sketches before finishing with darker contour lines. REALLY nice how you started adding tones to shade the bird's form.
