Sydney

Right from the start you were drawing lines and shapes with a lot of control, Sydney!!! As you progressed with your sketches, the proportions (sizes of shapes compared to other shapes) became more accurate--especially on the toucan!! Excellent work in overlapping the truck tires over the engine and the frog's front legs; this gives depth to your pictures. It was so cool to see you relax and draw expressive lines for your large-format composition. Keep practicing loosening up your lines when sketching guidelines for the shapes of things; then finishing with darker outlines.

You nailed the proportions of the frog, spot-on!!

Your drawings will be featured with students from other schools in the Drawing League Gallery.
